Autism Acceptance Month – Day 30 (Last Day!)

Acceptance means…

To be treated equally as everyone else. To have justice when justice should be served. To have Autism Moms/Parents listen to us when we discuss autism. To not have our concerns and experiences dismissed. To not have bullying and mental health experiences so high as a result of our mistreatment. To live in a world where our needs are being catered for, the way everyone else’s are. To have autism become something amazing, rather than being compared to cancer or having people with you dead over being autistic. Acceptance means a lot of things to me that probably can’t be summed up in this post, but I’ve enjoyed doing this over the course of the month so I might do more autism related posts in future.
